Machines and materials

Four laser wavelengths, a dual-head UV printer, a heat press and a 3D printer in one Houston shop. Different materials absorb different wavelengths, so having all of them means we can choose the process that gives the cleanest result.

What are you working with?

MOPA fiber laser 60 W 1064 nm

Black marks that won’t wash or wear off, deep engraving, and oxide colors from gold to blue — no ink involved.

Typical work: Nameplates, tumblers, pendants, metal business cards. Also works well: dual-head uv printer.

The machines

MachineWavelength or methodWhat we use it forAccessories
CO₂ laser, 80 W80 W CO₂ laser 10.6 µmFar infrared Cuts and engraves wood, plywood, acrylic, leather, cork, felt, paper and two-color label laminate. Frosts glass and stone. Ducted exhaust with filtration
MOPA fiber laser, 60 WDual-source fiber laser (60 W MOPA + 40 W blue diode) 1064 nmNear infrared Marks and engraves stainless steel, brass, aluminum, titanium, silver and gold. Black, white and oxide-color marking, deep engraving, rotary work on rings and tumblers. Rotary attachment, conveyor for long or batch parts
Blue diode laser, 40 WDual-source fiber laser (60 W MOPA + 40 W blue diode) 455 nmVisible blue Fine photo engraving on wood, leather, slate and painted or coated surfaces. Shares the fiber laser’s rotary and camera alignment
UV laserUV laser marker 355 nmUltraviolet Cold marking with very little heat: glass, crystal (including 3D engraving inside the block), plastics, coated parts and heat-sensitive materials. The finest detail in the shop. Conveyor for batches
Dual-head UV printerDual-head UV flatbed printer CMYK + white + varnishPrint Two industrial print heads with CMYK, white and varnish, plus rigid and flexible white and fluorescent red and yellow. Gloss or matte varnish, raised texture up to 7 mm and foil effects, at up to 720 × 1440 dpi. Prints directly on acrylic, wood, metal, glass and leather, makes UV DTF transfers, and prints around cylinders on the rotary. Rotary for cylinders, UV DTF film, laminator
Heat pressHeat press with 3D form module Transfers and formingPress Applies full-color transfers to shirts, totes and hats, and forms heat-shaped pieces. The 3D form module presses curved surfaces like caps. 3D form module for caps, craft oven, dual station
3D printerMulti-color 3D printer FDM, up to 4 colorsAdditive Prototypes, enclosures, jigs and fixtures, display parts and short runs in PLA, PETG and flexible TPU. Automatic material system for multi-color parts

Large signs can be made in sections and long parts run on the conveyor. We also handle sequential numbering and variable data from a spreadsheet.
